It will cover investment schemes both from HSBC and a variety of other top performing providers to make your money work best for you.

Overdraft Facility
As a member of STATUS, you can rest assured of immediate access to emergency cash beyond the balance in your account. You can have access to an Overdraft facility starting from EGP 5,000 to a maximum of EGP 35,000, at a competitive interest rate. The Overdraft facility can also be granted against your Time Deposit(s) or Investment(s) held with HSBC.

Interest Bearing Current Account
STATUS offers you an interest bearing current account, which allows you to earn interest on your minimum credit balance of EGP 5,000 or above. Interest is calculated on the daily balance and credited to your account on quarterly basis. In addition, you have the freedom to open any other HSBC account and Time Deposit, depending on your needs.

Cross-Border Service
You will be recognized as a STATUS customer across HSBC Bank branches in the region and selected Saudi British Bank branches (Al- Imtiaz is the equivalent of Status in Saudi Arabia ). In addition, you are entitled to emergency encashment service when regular withdrawal methods (e.g. ATM) are not available.

With STATUS Account, you will receive a personalized Cheque Book to issue as many cheques as you need, free of charge.

We will send you a consolidated statement every month to help you keep an easy track of your financial position. One simple statement will keep you updated regarding all your accounts.

If you earn a minimum gross fixed monthly salary of EGP 10,000, you can enjoy all these benefits for a nominal monthly fee of EGP 100. Alternatively, you can qualify for STATUS, free of charge if you choose to maintain a monthly average relationship balance of EGP 150,000** or more with HSBC Bank Egypt.
