Educational Finance

Education finance is a one year finance at a discounted preferential rate, for the purpose of financing the tuition fees. The eligibility amount is calculated based on your income; whether you’re salaried or self-employed. In case you’re not able to prove your income, you can still apply on a secured education finance at a lower interest rate than the cash finance.

You can apply by contacting your relationship manager or visiting your nearest branch, and providing a letter from the education institution with the required fees and the remittance details along with other regular required documents according to your profession for applying for personal finance, please check our other products for further details. 

The minimum finance tenure is 6 months and the maximum is 12 months.

If you’re a salaried, professional or self-employed customer, income proof documents will be required along with a letter from the educational institution with the required fees and the remittance details.

If you’re not able to prove your income or you’re a housewife you can apply on a secured education finance against your deposits maintained with HSBC at a very competitive interest rate, the only extra requirement would be a letter from the educational institution with the required fees and the remittance details.

The finance amount and the installments payment currency will be in Egyptian pounds, however you can arrange with your relationship manager to manage the foreign exchange transaction upon the finance disbursement and the remittance of it to the designated education institution.
